Passive Waveguide Products

Crossguide Coupler (CGC) - Covers 18 to 170 GHz in nine waveguide bands. For complete coverage of each waveguide band, two models are offered, each covering 70% of the waveguide band. Offered with the fourth port (isolated port) either left open or internally terminated.

Crossguide Coupler

3-port High Directivity Directional Coupler (CL3) - Covers 18 to 170 GHz in nine waveguide bands. Offered with coupling values of 3, 6, 10, 20, 30, or 40 dB, and covers a full waveguide band. Directivity is 37 dB up to 60 GHz, and drops to 28 dB up to 170 GHz.

3-port High Directivity Directional Coupler

4-port High Directivity Directional Coupler (CL4) - Available from 18 to 170 GHz, with coupling values of 3, 6, 10, 20, 30, and 40 dB. Offered in two types of configurations: bi-directional couplers and dual couplers.

Magic Tee Hybrid Coupler (CMT) - Covers 18 to 170 Ghz in nine waveguide bands. Each coupler is offered in two version, one providing a bandwidth of 60% and the other providing a bandwidth of 90%.

Short Slot Hybrid Coupler (CSS) - Covers 26.5 to 170 GHz in nine waveguide bands. The two output ports are in-line to the input port, and have 90° phase difference with nearly equal power levels over 5% of the center frequency. Isolation between output ports is 20 dB (typical).

Hybrid Tee (HBT) - Four-port transmission line components available in nine waveguide bands covering 26.5 to 220 GHz.
E- and H-plane Tuner (EHT) - Micrometer-tuned noncontacting adjustable shorts are placed in both the series and shunt arms. Available between 26.5 and 170 GHz in eight waveguide bands.

Hybrid Tee, E- and H-plane Tuner

General Purpose and Precision Fixed Attenuator (FXA) and Level Set Attenuator (LSA) - Consists of a waveguide section with a precisely cut resistive vane. Available in nine waveguide bands from 18 to 170 GHz.
Variable Phase Shifter (VPS) - Consists of a waveguide section with a movable dielectric vane driven by a micrometer. Phase shift range of 180°.

General Purpose Fixed Attenuator, Level Set Attenuator, Variable Phase Shifter

E- and H-plane Bends (WGB), Tees (TEH), and Twists (WTW) - Precisely formed waveguide sections which maintain internal waveguide dimensions while changing the external orientation. The E- and H-plane bends, twists, and tees are all offered from 18 to 220 GHz in ten waveguide bands.

Tapered Transition (TWT) - Short sections of tapered waveguide with standard waveguide dimensions at each end.
Waveguide Flange Adapter (WFA) - Short sections of waveguide with different flange types suitable for the waveguide size on either end.
Straight Waveguide Section (SWS) - Offered in customer-specified lengths up to 48 inches.

Termination (WTR) - Tapered absorbers within the waveguide section.
Tunable Load (TLD) - A metric micrometer tuning mechanism allows the microwave absorber to be positioned within the guide while maintaining a constant magnitude of reflection coefficient.
Tunable Short (TSC) - Consists of a movable non-contacting choke plunger within a waveguide section.
