The MXP is a high performance broadband balanced mixer in a compact size, that offers low conversion loss and noise figure over a wide range of local oscillator and IF frequencies. This balanced mixer covers a frequency range of 18 to 110 GHz in seven waveguide bands. The MXP mixer can operate with low local oscillator power, typically 10 to 13 dBm.

1) When RF is fullband and LO
is swept, IF will be maintained at a fixed frequency.

4) LO input is coaxial (2.92 mm).
The series MXB mixer is DC biased to operate with local oscillator power levels as low as 0 dBm. It provides low conversion loss over broad RF and LO bandwidths and is available in four waveguide bands from 33 to 110 GHz.

The series DXP detector provides an economical solution for power detection from 18 to 220 GHz in ten waveguide bands. The detector offers high sensitivity and full waveguide band coverage without external DC bias or adjustments. The series DXP has flat response over the entire waveguide band, and is offered with a choice of positive or negative polarity output

The series MSH subharmonic mixer operates at a second or third harmonic of the local oscillator frequency, offering broad RF, IF and LO frequency coverage. Four standard models are offered covering 50 to 200 GHz in four waveguide bands.

The series MHP harmonic mixer is ideally suited for downconverting millimeter-wave frequencies to intermediate frequencies below 2 GHz by using a local oscillator in the microwave frequency range of 2 to 18 GHz. The MHP is offered in seven waveguide bands spanning 18 to 110 GHz, with full RF waveguide band coverage. The harmonic mixer features high sensitivity and low loss, and is available with or without a frequency diplexer

The series MUP upconverter is used for translating a microwave or low frequency signal to millimeter-wave frequency output. Single or double sideband models are available in seven waveguide bands from 18 to 110 GHz. Both offer low conversion loss and high output power, typically +3 dBm in single sideband operation (including a rejection filter)

Notes:
1) Minimum filter bandwidth is 2% of RF center frequency. See filter
specification, series FNP, FLP, FHP.
2) Output power depends on LO and IF input power. RF levels are
typical. Maximum power levels obtained at 13 to 17 dBm LO and 10
dBm IF input.
3) LO bandwidth is typically 1 to 5 GHz. High bandwidth is possible
using special designs.
4) Upconverter operates at all IF power levels. Maximum RF power
output requires 10 dBm IF power. Linear operation at low IF power
levels.
Series MIQ mixers are available for both the Ka and W bands. These I/Q mixers are ideal for radar receiver applications and Single-Sideband Mixers. The LO port is spilt by a 90-degree hybrid to the two mixers.
