The MXP is a high performance broadband balanced mixer in a compact size, that offers low conversion loss and noise figure over a wide range of local oscillator and IF frequencies. This balanced mixer covers a frequency range of 18 to 110 GHz in seven waveguide bands. The MXP mixer can operate with low local oscillator power, typically 10 to 13 dBm.
Millitech series MB1 mixers are DC biased to operate with low local oscillator power levels on the order of +3 dBm. These are balanced mixers with low conversion loss over broad RF and LO bandwidths and an IF range which extends up to 18 GHz.
** Please Note** Millitech series MXB mixers have been superceeded by the MB1 series mixers and are not recommended for new designs. The MXB series continues to be available for legacy designs.

Millitech series DET detectors, utilizing Schottky Barrier Beam Lead Diodes, provide a very economical solution for power detection over the 18 to 220 GHz range. Both high sensitivity and full waveguide bandwidths are achieved simultaneously without external DC bias or adjustments. Positive or negative output voltage polarity is available for use with various scalar analyzers. These detectors have a flat frequency response, as their sensitivity shows minor variation over the entire waveguide band.
Millitech series MSH subharmonic mixers operate at second harmonic of the local oscillator frequency. Hence, the local oscillator frequency is one-half of the RF in the applicable waveguide band. These mixers offer the advantage of a lower frequency local oscillator while achieving noise figure typically between 5 and 9 dB.
The series MHP harmonic mixer is ideally suited for downconverting millimeter-wave frequencies to intermediate frequencies below 2 GHz by using a local oscillator in the microwave frequency range of 2 to 18 GHz. The MHP is offered in seven waveguide bands spanning 18 to 110 GHz, with full RF waveguide band coverage. The harmonic mixer features high sensitivity and low loss, and is available with or without a frequency diplexer
The series MUP upconverter is used for translating a microwave or low frequency signal to millimeter-wave frequency output. Single or double sideband models are available in seven waveguide bands from 18 to 110 GHz. Both offer low conversion loss and high output power, typically +3 dBm in single sideband operation (including a rejection filter)
Millitech I/Q mixers are ideal for Radar Receiver applications and Single-Sideband Mixers. The LO port is spilt by a 90-degree hybrid to the two mixers. Some models allow the option for a LO input buffer so that only 0 dBm of LO power is required for the mixer to operate. An integrated RF low noise amplifier (LNA) is also optional. Models are available in WR-28, WR-10, 2.92, 2.4, and 1.85 mm connectors.
Millitech will engineer custom variations of our standard MMW components, as well as, multi-component assemblies and solutions, with minimal non-recurring engineering (NRE) costs, to meet your specific requirements. Typically these modification are to meet one or more of the following requirements:
