The Manufacturing Services Division's extensive experience with
program management has resulted in our participation, as the
manufacturer of choice, in the majority of
U.S. Navy shipboard satellite communication systems. Our team-driven
approach allows us to pay close attention to every step of a program to
ensure customer requirements are met, schedule and cost objectives
achieved, and an exacting level of quality maintained. Program Managers
are assigned to every manufacturing program launched at MSD and are
supported by program-specific manufacturing technicians. Each program is
also supported by a buyer/planner, quality engineer, and manufacturing
engineer. The MSD team has also participated in numerous satcom and
radar detection programs for the U. S. Air Force, Army, and various
commercial customers.
MSD's Materials Management team employs an integrated supply chain
philosophy to ensure on-time delivery of quality products to our
customers. Millitech utilizes a Supplier Development Program to
cultivate a broad, deep supply base capable of supporting our customers'
most demanding specifications.
