Hybrid Tees (HBT)

Millitech series HBT hybrid tees are four-port transmission line components where the junction of the series arm (E-plane) and shunt arm (H-plane) are positioned in such a way to give power division and combination in both ports of the transmission line. These tees are available between 26.5 and 220 GHz. They are useful for many laboratory measurements. For those applications requiring high isolation between shunt and series arm, impedance matching, and balanced power splitting, Millitech series CMT magic tees will provide the level of performance necessary.

Hybrid Tees (HBT)
E- and H-Plane Tuners (EHT)

Millitech series EHT E- and H-plane tuners are a modification of the hybrid tee with micrometer-tuned noncontacting adjustable shorts placed in both the series and shunt arms. These tuners allow simultaneous adjustment of both the phase and amplitude of the reflection coefficient. They are available between 26.5 and 170 GHz, and are very useful for all impedance matching applications.

Waveguide Twist (WTW)

Millitech series WTW waveguide twists are precisely formed waveguide sections which maintain internal waveguide dimensions while changing the external orientation. The E- and H-plane twists are all offered from 18 to 220 GHz. The twists are supplied with angles of 45° (left- or right-handed) and 90°. Millitech also offers a highly miniaturized 90° twist (0.040 in/1.02 mm at 94 GHz, 0.120 in/3.05 mm at 35 GHz) for subsystems operating over a moderate bandwidth (25% typical). Waveguide Transition (TWT)

The series TWT tapered waveguide transitions are short sections of tapered waveguide with standard waveguide dimensions at each end. They are made using electroforming techniques for precise dimensions, resulting in a high degree of mode purity, along with minimum VSWR and insertion loss. Tapered transitions are available between 18 and 220 GHz.

The series WCA waveguide to coax adapters, cover up to 110 GHz. Waveguide to coax include 2.92, 2.4, 1.85, and 1.0 mm connectors.

Termination (WTR)

The series WTR termination covers 18 to 220 GHz in 10 waveguide bands. The termination consists of tapered absorbers within the waveguide section. This termination is designed to provide a maximum VSWR ranging from 1.03:1 in WR-42 to 1.5:1 in WR-05.

Tunable Load (TLD)

The series TLD tunable load covers 26.5 to 170 GHz in eight waveguide bands. The tunable load consists of a metric micrometer tuning mechanism that allows the microwave absorber to be positioned within the guide while maintaining a constant magnitude of reflection coefficient. This tunable load is designed to provide a typical VSWR ranging from 1.05:1 in WR-28 to 1.1:1 in WR-06.

Tunable Short (TSC)

The series TSC tunable short covers 26.5 to 170 GHz in eight waveguide bands. The short consists of a movable non-contacting choke plunger within a waveguide section. The series TSC provides VSWR in excess of 20:1 in WR-28 and 15:1 in WR-06.
